A NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER 

On behalf of the team at Cuisine Noir magazine online, we would like to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! We hope that this year will be your best one yet.

I am very excited to announce some new developments with Cuisine Noir. When we launched the magazine in October 2007, we knew that we had a wonderful vehicle to showcase the talents of African-American chefs and professionals in the food and wine industries all over the world. The past year has been very successful and our goal of being the #1 resource for African-Americans is one that we look forward to achieving.

Our last issue was published in October 2008 and since then I am exited to announce that Cuisine Noir will be published by V. Sheree Communications moving forward in 2009. The next issue will come out in July as a monthly publication.

I will remain on the team as a consultant and look forward to working with V. Sheree Communications. Starting in February, you will receive a monthly newsletter with stories, events and offers. Also during this time, you will receive a survey that will allow you to provide your input as to what you would like to see in Cuisine Noir once it re-launches. It is very important that we continue to focus on your food and wine needs and wants. You may also email your comments and suggestions to Vicki Williams at vicki@vshereecommunications.com.

This is an exciting time in the history of Cuisine Noir and we want to encourage each of you to continue telling others about us. Thank you for your support over this last year and here is to an industry changing year in 2009!
