Thanks to DIAGEO and its brands, the B-Hen experience made its way to NYC for the first time with the B-Hen Block Party: NYC Edition on September 16; returning nightlife to its foundation: D.J.s and Dancing.
There are NO Sections & NO VIP … because we’re all VIP. Brian Henry, also known as DJ B-Hen, and DIAGEO celebrated Black Joy with hip-hop, afro beats, and more while sipping on cocktails Smirnoff Pink Lemonade Vodka, Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and DeLeon Blanco Tequila.
The party took place in Brooklyn at 99 Scott Studio with performances by DJ B-Hen, DJ MOMA, and GOODVIBESJONES and a celebrity appearance by “Insecure” actor, Kendrick Sampson.
“Music is recognized as a catalyst of socialization, because it transmits the highest social values such as solidarity, harmony and mutual compassion. It can unite an entire community by enabling sublime feelings. We partnered with DIAGEO to continue to grow and amplify the B-Hen Block Party, an event that cohesively integrates music with technology, design and THE CULTURE. I’m raising a glass to celebrate all the teams, vendors, and partners that helped bring our creative vision to life,” Davon Johnson, executive producer and creative director.
This event was an extension of DIAGEO’s Joy of June partnership that kicked off at the start of summer with the B-Hen Block Party: Juneteenth Edition in L.A., which celebrated Black joy, Black excellence, and self-expression in a space where all people are welcome to come as they are. During the evening, guests were able to try Johnson’s favorite drink, the Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum’s Mai Tai.
