For someone whose favorite hue is blue, Porché Perryman is making her fortune surrounded by the color pink. As co-owner of High Noon Brunchery, Georgia’s first all-pink foodie destination, this realtor and former beauty entrepreneur (eyelash extensions were her specialty) is living la vie en rose.
“I just love the positivity that pink brings,” she shares about the blush shade that bathes the restaurant from floor to ceiling.
An On-Trend Collaboration
Located in Douglasville, Georgia, High Noon Brunchery is just half an hour’s drive from Atlanta and is the result of a business partnership between Perryman and chef/restaurateur Lorenzo Wyche, Jr.
“What made us decide to go all pink is that Lorenzo noticed how pink cafes were a huge trend in Europe—and they were making their way to the U.S., mostly on the West Coast,” relates Perryman. “We decided there were already some pink [details] in the building, so why not commit, go all pink and bring a pink cafe here to Georgia?”
With the decor theme set, the duo transformed the historic building housing High Noon Brunchery into the town’s pinkalicious landmark. The two-story property dates back to the mid-1800s. It was a former courthouse records building and, before that, a hardware store.
About High Noon Brunchery’s Signature Hue
Today, High Noon Brunchery takes up about 3000 square feet of space on the first level, which includes an outdoor dining area. Plans for developing the second story into a private event space are in the works to fulfill frequent requests to accommodate larger dining parties, says Perryman. Not bad for a restaurant that’s only been open since February of this year.
“We have over 20-30 windows and so with that sunlight shining in, we knew for a fact we did not want to go dark with a hot pink—because that would just ‘dim’ it. We wanted to exude positivity, calmness,” Perryman reveals about how a soft rose hue, dubbed Loveable by Sherwin-Williams, became the restaurant’s signature color.
Entering this pink wonderland is like walking into a ready-made social media post or Barbie’s dream house. “When I say all pink, I mean all pink! Every single wall is pink, we have pink chandeliers, our doors are pink, our windows are tinted pink,” details the entrepreneur about how the place ensures this flattering shade completely surrounds each guest.
“We also have a beautiful pink flowered wall with pink wings that illuminate. It’s amazing.”
Think Pink and Smile
To make the most of the rosy decor, she suggests dressing accordingly. “I highly recommend, for the sake of your pictures, to wear pink—or at least a nice pastel color. Your photos are going to look bright and happy!”
The blush hue extends to High Noon Brunchery’s covered outdoor patio, where concrete floors are, of course, painted pink. “For the outside, within the next month or so, we’re going to be painting our whole building pink. So we’re super excited for becoming that iconic pink building in the historic downtown Douglasville area.”
The power of pink over the brunch hotspot’s decor is transformative, observes Perryman, who hopes the happy hue will continue to charm and delight her guests. “Colors really do add [to the experience]…It’s translated to our guests and has them feel happy. On top of making sure our customer service and food are A-1, guests really enjoy being in this pink space. If you love pink, it’s paradise.”
A Memorable Brunch Menu
But beyond the on-trend color scheme, High Noon Brunchery delivers a diversely delicious menu created by chef and co-owner Wyche and crafted in-house by Chef Roberto and his eight-member kitchen crew.
“We offer a mix of breakfast, brunch selections as well as some amazing lunch items. The beauty of High Noon Brunchery is we are very diversified in our cuisine. There are gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian [options]. We wanted something all-inclusive, where no matter what friend you’re with, they can find something to eat,” offers the longtime Douglasville resident who can be found at the restaurant, making sure guests have the most joyful.
The bestseller on the menu, says Perryman, is the chicken & pancakes (with its crispy pancake edges and buttery flavor). Likewise, she also recommends the shrimp & grits (served with spinach and tomatoes), the banana pudding French toast (“If you love banana pudding and French toast, it’s amazing together”), and the lobster beignet omelet. “It’s a delicious omelet with Swiss cheese; it has lobster bites on top of a lobster butter sauce,” she says about the decadently rich dish.
Brunch Beverages
But what would brunch be without the beverages? In this category, High Noon Brunchery does not disappoint. “We consider ourselves a Champagne and wine bar,” says the restaurant co-owner whose drinks menu also offers, beyond the spirits, untraditional cocktails.
“One of our popular drinks is our Kiss Me Pink Sangria. It comes in a really huge martini glass, [which holds] about 128 ounces, so it’s pretty big. It’s actually made for sharing, and it’s a mix of tropical juice flavors, saki and Champagne,” describes Perryman.
“It’s really great for [taking] pictures—a lot of people accept it as their personal challenge to finish it! But the one thing I can say is, it will not take you over the top where you’re in the ‘danger zone.’ So don’t be scared.”
Another fun brunch beverage choice is the mimosa flight, which features a trio of High Noon Brunchery’s specialty flavored mimosas: pineapple mimosa, guava mint mimosa and Nigh Noon Mimosa. “The mimosa flight is a very popular option for those wanting to try different flavors,” says Perryman.

Celebrating in the Pink
As for the clientele, High Noon Brunchery sees mostly a mix of women and families—as well as some solo male patrons who brave the all-pink vibe because of the menu.
“There are men that come by themselves, sit at the bar and they’re like, ‘I know it’s all pink, but I just had to get the banana pudding,’” shares Perryman. “So that’s the thing, even though we’re pink and cute, the food has to make guests come back.”
From birthdays, bridal showers and even a surprise marriage proposal, Perryman and her 17-member service staff are there to make sure guests have a good time. “Within the short amount of time we’ve been open, we’ve been a part of a lot of guests’ experiences. Hopefully we’re creating a lot of great memories, and we’re excited for where we’re going and what’s been done already.”
