Chef Felicia is also the secretary of the American Culinary Federation Board, a member of the Arsenal Technical Advisory Board, the Minority and Hospitality Board, a judge for the World Food Championships, serves on the Anderson Career Center Advisory Board, and in the dual role as a certified Servsafe instructor and proctor for the National Restaurant Association and is the founder of Tasty Teen Collective Culinary Youth Camp.

Chef Hardette Harris, a 2000 Art Institute of Houston graduate, passionately celebrates North Louisiana cuisine. A celebrated chef, she is known for creating North Louisiana’s official state meal in 2015, only the second such designation in the U.S. Recognized as Louisianian of the Year 2017, Country Roads Magazine Best Small Town Chef 2017, and a 2024 James Beard Best Chef: South semifinalist, she has also received accolades like the Heinz/Lee Initiative Award and a Mellon Fellowship. Her Shreveport-based Us Up North Kitchen is famed for its award-winning catfish, and she has showcased North Louisiana cuisine globally with a Masterclass at the 2025 GTCO Food and Drink Festival. West Africa’s largest food festival. A culinary ambassador, Harris continues to elevate Louisiana’s food culture through writing, teaching, and leadership in food organizations.

Dr. Donna Nickerson

Dr. Donna Nickerson is the founder of the Da’ Shack Farmers Market, a garden nursery, farmers market, and mental health hub in East Waco where everyone is welcome. Dr. Nickerson wants YOU to grow your own food, and she provides a wealth of information on cultivating edible gardens. When she isn’t running Da’Shack Farmers Market during the spring and early summer months, Nickerson owns and operates the psychotherapy practice, 3 Dimension Inc., in the DFW area and offers mental health services to the Waco community.
Sheri Raleigh-Yearby

Sheri L. Raleigh-Yearby is a culinary educator and the founder of Cast Iron Skillet Culinaire LLC. She is also the author of the “Gifts From The Ancestor” cookbook series, her tribute to generational Creole heritage recipes. Growing up in Southwest Louisiana, Sheri’s constant companion was her Granmè, who inspired her love of Créole food and cooking along with her mother, Viola, and aunts. She also founded the Lawrence J. and Viola M. Raleigh Hospitality Scholarship at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
